Stingrays competed at their last swim meet before regionals over the weekend in Kimberley.  With 14 swimmers, Stingrays finished in 6th place overall. Colville Swim Meet Results

The Stingrays had a fantastic weekend in Colville! Lots of strong showings and great sportsmanship from the swimmers, stingrays came 4th overall with 2143 points. Meet highlights, Juliana Zhou got a meet record in the 50 backstroke with a time of 33.22 while Fionn Miller, completed the “Guts and Glory” event , a 400 individual medley race, finishing with a time of 8:44.39. Good weekend for the Stingrays! The team continued to capture several personal best times and placed 4th overall. The Stingrays swam excellent at the one day meet in Grand Forks on Sunday. There were lots of major improvements from many of the swimmers. Jill O’Hearn-Stone took off 20 seconds in her 50 fly from her previous time, swimming 56.6 seconds, while her brother, Charlie O’Hearn-Stone, took off 36 seconds, swimming a time of 1:20.81 in the 50 Backstroke. Stingrays had another fantastic weekend and it was great to be back in the Nelson pool. Overall, we placed 4th with 328 points! Lots of personal best times were achieved. Some very impressive performances were from Ryder Tymchyshyn, Div 2, taking 16 seconds off of his 100 IM from last years time and Reuben Demmler, Div 3,  taking 18 seconds off from his 100 Free.
