The Stingrays had awesome performances at the Castlegar meet on the weekend. We had 20 swimmers attend. This was a heats and finals meet, meaning that the top 6 swimmers from heats made it into finals. Kimberley Meet Results

Seventeen swimmers attended the meet on the weekend. We had some great swims and lots of personal best times! In the boys division 2, 100 IM, Camden took 7 seconds off, swimming a 2:00.94. He also took 5 seconds in his 50 fly, with a time of 54.9, 4 seconds off in his 50 backstroke with 48.9 and another 5 seconds off in his 50 breaststroke with 1:03.98. Way to go Camden! Creston Swim Meet Results

We had a small but mighty group at the Creston meet. With only 15 swimmers, there were still great performances in the water. Our div. 4 boys, Reuben and Ripley, were neck and neck at every race. Those two show great sportsmanship and are constantly pushing each other to work harder. Reuben took off 11 seconds in 200 IM, with a time of 3:07.09. The Stingrays did phenomenal at their home meet. There were dramatic improvements from several swimmers. Many achieved personal best times, dropping huge amounts of time from last year.
